Fics like The Scent of Peace

Peace in Portland’s Wesen community has always been a balancing act, but when rumors of secret power plays between the last Grimm and the Royal-blooded Captain begin to stir, Monroe proposes a solution no one asked for: Nick and Sean need to pretend they’re in a relationship. It’s supposed to be simple. Public appearances, shared spaces, casual domesticity. But Wesen don’t believe in surface-level displays. They believe in scent. They can smell intimacy, desire, the truth of a bond beneath the skin. So Nick and Sean must get close. Closer than either is ready for. The plan is to fake it. But with each brush of skin, each shared breath, the line between pretending and wanting begins to blur. Portland’s fragile peace may depend on them acting like lovers. The real danger is when they stop acting.
