Fics like Everyone is Busy

Rumi keeps waiting for someone to notice. Her friends keep waiting for her to say something. In between are workdays, canceled plans, group chats, Friday nights, bad coffee, missed invitations, and all the ordinary ways people can fail each other without ever meaning to. Everyone Is Busy is a story about loving people who love you back and still being terribly, terribly lonely. ======== I wanted to release the whole story at once. It means a lot to me for some pretty personal reasons I don’t really want to talk about, so I didn’t want to turn the release into a big thing. I just wanted to put it out there and let the story speak for itself.
