Zoey rubs at the back of her neck, an attempt to play off the warmth rushing to her skin after getting caught staring. She ruffles her own hair, an intentionally messy wolfcut, and tidies up some loose strands. Her ears feel hot but she can play that off as the heat of the summer night… maybe. She twirls the golf club in hand, a lazy circle spinning as she watches Mira approach. “Heard you were on ball duty. Thought I could keep you company.” Mira holds her hands behind her back, tipping up on her toes as she smirks at Zoey in a leisurely manner. It’s slow and cool in a nonchalant way, but Zoey sees the playfulness glimmering in Mira’s gaze, sees the eager squeeze of her hands and arms as she shifts on her feet. “If you’d like.” The subtle eagerness makes Zoey’s face split into a grin; it makes her puff and preen from being the object of Mira’s attention. She’s rather pleased, her grin turning crooked with glee as she lets out a girlish little giggle. And Mira’s response—bright eyes and a sweet curve of a smile—makes Zoey’s stomach feel like a swarm of butterflies are tickling her from the inside out. “I would very much like.” Zoey smiles as she steps a little closer to Mira.
