Fics like Maybe this time

“Is there any scientific reason why your machine could not go to another time, besides my own and yours?” Crowley thought for a moment. “No reason why it couldn’t - any date should work. Why?” “I have an idea.” “Where did you have in mind? I’ll take you anywhere you want to go, Angel.” Anthony Crowley is in his final year of his astrophysics PhD and is in a slump. He hasn’t written anything for his thesis in months, his supervisor won’t get off his back, and he’s beyond the point of caring if he fails. Even his side project, modifying his 1926 Bentley to push the limits of engineering and science itself, had fallen to the wayside. Deadlines looming, in a last ditch attempt to feel like himself again, Crowley finally tests his Bentley’s modifications and travels through time, stumbling across a 19th century man, Aziraphale Eastgate, who reluctantly agrees to accompany him on an adventure. An ineffable husbands through the ages human AU, falling in love through the medium of a time-travelling Bentley. Fic is fully written, will update on Thursdays.
