Fics like User Disconnected

Scattered across the caverns of the Grey Planet, many experiments have been sent and discarded, all to answer questions that never deserved an answer to begin with. How would this one survive if it couldn't feel any negative emotions? How would this one act if it had to choose an Experiment to sacrifice every month? And how would an Experiment react if it's handler, one that's gained it's friendship and faith over years and years, was disconnected? What was supposed to affect that one experiment, it's affected every other one on the Grey Planet. Which means no handlers and no punishment protocols. Both free and still trapped in the caves of rock and metal and death. (For the best reading experience, I'd recommend reading white text on black. It fits with the pictures.)
