Fics like Keepsakes

Grigori, unhappy with Ilya’s lazy performance during his rookie year, decides to punish Ilya by trying to take away the one thing Ilya held precious in the world, her mother’s necklace. Shane offers to keep it safe and in return Shane gave him an old iron ring to keep for the summer. Ilya began to dream of a little boy standing at the center of a strange and beautiful ritual. A shaman in an ornate ceremonial costume danced around him, swinging swords as bells chimed and drums thundered. Shane dreams of a young woman teaching a boy how to skate on an icy pond.
