Fics like [Day 1] Take This Burden and Bury It Deep

There was no way that Scott hadn't been asleep, and every second waiting for the door to open made him rethink this entire idea. He was about to turn around and leave, contemplating heading to the river again, when the door to the cottage opened. "Nom?" Scott rubbed his eyes groggily before he stared at him, blinking in confusion. "It's the middle of the night… is everything okay?" or; One of the first nights after being changed into a dragon, Nom finds he can't sleep due to instincts he can't figure out. He only knows that his instincts are pulling him towards Scott. (Title from "Cold is the Night" by The Oh Hellos) [Flowersmith Prompt Week. Day 1: Late nights/New Friends]
