"Buck, I'm not going to take away your free food. Get yourself a double portion, dude." Eddie continued trying to get the door to hook in the hinge, grumbling whenever he missed. "I don't need it." Buck decides to take a different approach than just saying it outright. Flattery. "I really appreciate how much you've been helping me with Theo these past few weeks. If I deserve a nice dinner for all the work I've been doing, then you do too, Eddie. Besides—" Buck pursed his lips. He felt his face heat up. "I don't want to go alone." Eddie couldn't stop the snort he made. "That— that makes sense. You know what, sure, Buck, I'll go to dinner with you. Just let me know when, it's a date." -- Buck won a raffle for a free gift card to a new fancy restaurant and gets a little more than what he bargained for when he asks Eddie to accompany him.
