Fics like green light

Evan Buckley is 33 years old, holding a screwdriver in his sister’s house, his niece singing a song at the top of her lungs, when he realises that he’s been in love with Eddie Diaz for the better part of his adult life. He’s 33 years old when he realises that he’ll be in love with Eddie Diaz for the rest of his adult life. ‘Fu–dge,’ he says, dropping the screwdriver. He’s so fucked. ------ Or: A loosely New Girl-inspired take on Buddie after 8A
