Fics like Good Prospects

Dr Jaina Proudmoore has finally been given the chance to prove that large-scale hydropower doesn’t have to destroy the environment. Then Sylvanas Windrunner joins the Drill and Blast team. Brilliant, severe, and deeply suspicious of the project, Sylvanas is also someone Jaina knows better than to get close to. As professional hostility gives way to something harder to ignore, troubling questions begin surfacing beneath the project—and Jaina must decide who she can trust before everything she has built her career around is demolished. - I'm writing this story so it can be read by itself, without reading Corporate Interest first. However, having read Corporate Interest will give you additional context.
