Fics like The Arrow that Pierced the Tide

Jaina finds a cursed magical item in Dalaran that allows her to receive letters from Sylvanas Windrunner. The only oddity is that the Sylvanas she's speaking to comes from a century in the past. Knowing the fate that awaits the elf, Jaina tries to navigate the letters to learn about the woman before the Scourge. Unfortunately for her, as the letters increase and time goes by, Jaina soon discovers a second problem: she's falling in love. Messing with the timeline is wrong, and the Bronze Dragonflight won't take kindly if she inadvertently changes history, but the heart often wants what the heart wants.
