Fics like Blackbirds on the Fence Line

A slowburn Daryl Dixon x Hybird!Reader, TWD AU heavily inspired by Sweet Tooth. The world ended twice. First with the Sick, a strange virus that left children born as animal-human hybrids. Then with the dead. Years after her scientist parents helped create the disease that changed humanity forever, a young red wolf hybrid hides what she is while trying to survive among a growing group of strangers outside Atlanta. As walkers close in and secrets become harder to keep, she finds herself drawn to the last person she expected: the rough-edged hunter who always seems to see more than he lets on. Featuring found family, survival, secrets, and hope stubbornly blooming at the end of the world.
