Fics like I Know Everybody Changes, But I Hope That We Don't

"I’m scared I’m going to end up alone. I’m not you, Ilya, you can hook up with people and not catch feelings.” Ilya props himself up on his elbow, facing Shane. “Hmm, that may be true. But maybe I will just keep fucking every person on earth and never find someone I will love. I will end up alone too. We’re both hopeless." “I don’t want you to end up alone, Ilya. I don’t want either of us to.” “How about this, solnyshko? If neither of us are married by 35, we marry each other.” OR, Shane and Ilya make a pact at 17 that if they aren't married by 35, they will marry each other. At 35, Ilya shows up to Shane's house to follow through.
