Fics like The Dragon of Kyoshi

When Zuko was eight for his safety his uncle brought him to Kyoshi Island. The only safe place for omegas where they weren't looked down on. The only place that would accept a child of fire. And that's where he stayed for the next ten years before the Avatar and two members of the southern water tribe showed up on the island shaking everything up. Katara has wanted nothing more than to learn waterbending. To learn to fight. To protect her people. And she finally gets the chance to when she and her brother discover the Avatar frozen in ice. She decides to travel with him and her brother to go to the North Pole to learn. Before they go they end up on Kyoshi island and Katara meets one of the Kyoshi warriors. A sun eyed omega who she can't help but be intrigued by. Who teaches her to fight when she asks. And who shares a secret with her. He is a fire bender. But during a time like this and with news of the Avatar on Kyoshi it brings the Fire Nation. And they discover that the island has not only the avatar but the long thought dead Prince of the fire nation. And he is forced to flee with them for his own safety. And he agrees to teach Aang firebending.
