Fics like Stars Drawn Around Scars

And then there’s Pete. I know I’m only eighteen, and it’s probably too early to know, but I’m pretty sure he’s the love of my life. He understands me like nobody else does. Nobody else even tries to get me the way Pete gets me. Not even the other werewolves. It goes way beyond that, too. In general, he just… gets it. I don’t know how else to put it. He’s also really sweet and funny and smart, not to mention pretty damn hot, in a super nerdy way. I love him so goddamn much, and I don’t think it’s a stretch to say he feels the same way about me. I would do anything for him, to make sure he’s loved and safe. Which is why I blame myself for what happened. __ OR: Despite being a werewolf, Steph Lauter has never felt more seen by someone than her human boyfriend Pete. So when he gets turned, she’s the first person on his side.
