Fics like Bloodstained Feathers

Simon’s breath caught in his chest. Even through the haze of pain and death, this man was . . . beautiful. Dirty blonde hair that stuck up every which way it wanted to, shocking blue eyes that felt like they could peer straight through his tainted soul, framed by the crinkles of smile lines, and speaking of, an excited smile, looking at Simon as if he wasn’t a murderer, a monster, someone worthy, maybe even deserving of being saved, of being in their presence. And his wings. The purest white that Simon had ever seen. No one had white wings, the only time he’d seen wings this white was in depictions of . . . Angels. - Fic inspiration from TikTok user: @purple_jellyfish222 Wing AU where humans are pre-dated from birds. White winged humans quickly went extinct during the Quiet Rapture, and with a vast majority of humanities information on wildlife lost with Earth. So when Simon wakes from what should have been his death to see Ryland Grace, with the pure white wings of swans, he thinks he's met an angel.
