So Subaru did the only stupid, reckless thing there was left to do—he made sure it took him instead. Now, whenever he dies, he wakes up before it happens, carrying memories no one else gets to keep. The Relic has made him the fixation of a rogue AI lurking beyond the Blackwall, and whatever it's given him, it refuses to take back. Subaru only wanted to save one lonely girl.
