Fics like Chasing Cars

Slowly over the coming weeks, Dennis healed. It wasn’t linear, he had setbacks several times. His body was still weak, not fully his own yet, but he was close. Jack and Robby couldn’t have been more proud. It had become normal, for Dennis to sleep in their bed, curled up between the two married attendings, their arms curled around him, gentle pressure that kept him grounded. And wake up to them stroking soft hands up and down his arms, mumbling sweet words of praise in his ear. They hadn’t spoken about the shift in their dynamic, each of them too scared to put a name to whatever this had become. but they all leaned futher and futher into it. OR: Jack and robby look after Dennis after his hospitalisation and become… something a little bit more than his bosses. (YES THERES FLUFF!!!)
