Fics like Twist the Knife Some More

The button was tempting—had been for months. Like a bright red present that had caught a younger Tord’s eye on his parents’ shelf weeks before Christmas—and ever since, he’d been waiting for the moment to tear into it. But now, as Tord stood above the button—bright, dustless, and practically pleading to be pressed, to unleash a robot that would tear the house apart… Tord couldn’t care less. Ten minutes had passed since he’d stood over the totem, waiting for that familiar anticipation to return, to make the press satisfying. But it never came. Instead, in those minutes of waiting, Tord found himself wondering when Matt and Edd would return from shopping… or when Tom would finally stop moping and come back. _____________________ Chapters 1-3 is soft lore; the rest is FREAK activity.
