Fics like Thin Walls | TomTord

Years after a painful fallout drove them apart, Tom and Tord are forced back into each other’s lives when desperate circumstances make them reluctant flatmates in a cramped London flat. The walls are thin—thin enough to hear every late-night guitar riff, every muffled breakdown, every loaded silence. Tom—cynical, depressed, haunted by a childhood trauma that left him with black void eyes and a barely contained inner monster—wants nothing more than to be left alone. Tord—violent impulses barely leashed, Norwegian accent thick with old shame, carrying scars both visible and buried from a brutally religious upbringing—believes he ruins everything he touches. What begins as cold hostility and slammed doors slowly erodes into reluctant observation, fractured vulnerability, and a pull neither can deny. Anger turns to fierce passion, guarded hearts crack open, and two broken men discover that the person who understands their darkness best might be the one they once hated most. But love built on unhealed wounds is fragile. When buried traumas resurface with devastating force, threatening to destroy everything they’ve fought for, they must confront the abyss together—or lose each other forever.
