Fics like burned skin and soft touches
"Mu Qing quickly grabs the bottle and starts inspecting it, a small frown on his face. “What is it? Salve?” He asks, a hint of hesitation in his voice. For the past few days, all he’s been doing is cleaning out his wounds and dressing them. Apart from that, he’s been relying on his divine healing and cultivation to help with the wounds. Wrapping himself in bandages was hard enough; he couldn’t possibly apply salve all over his body alone, and he refused to humiliate himself and ask for help from anyone; he doubts he’ll be able to use it. Regardless, he pockets the vial for later, and waves his hand in a gesture to dismiss Feng Xin from the tent. So it comes as a surprise, when he hears the sound of metallic clinging, and oh– Feng Xin is kneeling in front of him." or, post-canon fengqing, where Mu Qing is struggling with his injuries (and his feelings) and Feng Xin is determined to help him out, whether he likes it or not.
