Coach Wymack has made a career out of collecting disasters;Recovering addicts, violent offenders-kids with criminal records longer than their transcripts. If there was a teenager the rest of the NCAA wanted nothing to do with, chances were the Foxes had already offered them a scholarship. This year, however, might finally kill him. This year,he had two new recruits. The first was Neil Josten. He barely speaks, flinches at sudden movement, and plays Exy like someone's holding a gun to his head. The other was Jason Tood. A quiet kid from Gotham with one too many fights on his record. The plan was simple;Play Exy,Keep their heads down,Leave when the season ends. Instead,The Foxes find themselves with two strays instead of one. And somewhere between impossible practices, teammates, and a sport that was never just a sport, two boys who had spent their whole lives convinced they were impossible to keep, began to wonder what happens when someone tries anyway. Unfortunately for everyone involved, neither Gotham nor the Moriyamas are willing to let the past stay buried. And the Foxes have never been particularly good at staying out of other people's wars.
