In hind sight, Buck really should have agreed with Bobby and told people that he had more issues after the bombing than just his leg. Bobby had seen the medical records, but when he’d looked ready to hold Buck back for a second time, to keep him as the man behind, Buck told him he’d lose his job for refusing work based on his new disability. It would be worse discrimination than just holding him back because of hurt feelings. The point was, he should have told someone he was disabled. That he required hearing aids to be able to hear.
