Fics like Teacher, Teacher.

Dave, a calculus teacher, notices James, a struggling student, failing despite his efforts. Concerned about James’s slipping grades and potential loss of scholarship, Dave offers him a chance to substitute his failing math grade with a comprehensive study. The study, a twenty-page research paper on a topic of James’s choice, must be original and demonstrate his strengths beyond math. Dave, a teacher, develops inappropriate feelings for his student, James, during a three-week project assignment. Despite his internal conflict and the wrongness of the situation, Dave is unable to suppress his attraction. When James submits his project, Dave is both impressed and conflicted, leading to a tense exchange.
