Fics like The 4.7-Inch Problem

Sherlock Holmes and John Watson wake up one morning at Baker Street in a situation that is perfectly rational, scientifically fascinating, and absolutely catastrophic. They’ve been shrunk. Sherlock is 4.7 inches tall. John is four inches tall. Naturally, this is already a problem. Welcome to the worst day of John Watson’s life: an illegal biotech case to solve, Mrs Hudson in full domestic panic mode, Lestrade regretting every career choice he has ever made, a cat far too interested in their existence, and one catastrophic love confession.
