Fics like Baby Steps

"John... she keeps staring at me." John exhaled, holding back a chuckle. "Who? Mrs. Hudson?" “No, that… creature. She’s been staring at me wordlessly for twelve minutes straight. Twelve minutes, John! I checked my wristwatch! She’s got a resilience that makes your skin crawl.” John rubbed his eyes with two fingers. He was too old and tired for that. “She’s making your skin crawl, that’s good news.” he laughed mockingly. “It's exactly the kind of feeling we all get when you stare at us.” A desperate phonecall in the middle of the night will change Sherlock and John's lives forever. Will a little girl be able to bring them closer and finally make them become a family? NOW COMPLETE.
