Fics like Fact: You Are Good and I Am Bad

“Grace remember now. Grace sabotage mission?” Rocky demanded. “You could do, easy. Grace could open taumoeba tanks. Grace could set spin drive to blow up ship. Grace could do many things.” “What? No, no, I haven’t done any of that!” I hurriedly reassured. “I won’t, Rocky. I wouldn’t!” “If Rocky had no extra fuel, Grace sabotage mission, question?” “No! Rocky, I’m not going to sabotage anything! I wouldn’t do that to you.” --- There are many bad things about Rocky—as there are about any person I’ve ever met. And that isn’t even talking about myself. But the problem isn’t that he’s bossy, or swears like a sailor even though I can’t directly translate, or takes up more than half the space on my own gosh darn ship… …No. The problem is that despite all his flaws, he’s too good. Rocky is endlessly, painfully good. --- Grace and Rocky have a very important conversation.
