Fics like I'd Rather Dye

The sunrise was pretty. With its pinks, yellows, and blues. Its detailed clouds. A softness that Pony felt like he could never touch again. He never would feel the same staring at it when he did with Johnny. The relief from stress didn’t come even as he sat there for an hour. It was almost laughable. He was meant to be the one to tell Dallas all about this. But here he is. Dallas died and he doesn’t even remember what was so special. It pissed him off. He came home in handcuffs that day. Ponyboy attempts to distance himself from the incident. Even if that means shreading previous close bonds. He just doesn't wanna be the pity party kid anymore. What's a better way than surrounding himself with people who weren't around at the time and situations he would have never been in before?
