Eddie should have known that moving to LA meant there was a possibility he would live through a tsunami, but it still surprised him when the alert came through. The gravity of the situation only fully hit him as he stood at the edge of the water, over a mile from where the coast had once been. Despite all of the surprises that had crept up on him in the last twelve hours, the least he expected was to see Christoper, floating amongst the rubble as the water began to recede from the city, entirely alone. Spurred on by the realisation that Buck was out there somewhere in the mess of the city, Eddie, alongside the 118, journeys through the rubble of LA to find Buck. Unsure if he is alive, if he is injured, if he is even in the city rather than on the ocean floor, the 118 pushes forward, the knowledge that Buck is on blood thinners, nibbling at the edge of Eddie's mind, telling him they are running out of time to find him.
