Fics like I want you to think that i don't care

This is set 2 months after Weezer (Green album) came out, so the story is set in like July of 2001. moving on...The story is basically about 2 Stanford college students one of them being yourself and the other being your friend....Steph (i don't know what to call her so just go with it alright). Steph has been dating Rivers since she went to their show 2 months back, you did not know at all. I think that's partly because you're not as big of a fan like she is. It's 2 days before the 4th of July and you & Steph have decided to get out of the college dorm and spend the long weekend (the college you go to are having some maintenance problems with the dorms so you guys get 4 extra days off college) at a really nice beach house. You were obviously confused by this because how can a college student afford a nice place like that but you didn't think anything of it because Steph's parents have really good jobs (and her mum is like a crazy rich Asian), so they probably helped payed of it. The one thing that Steph left out was that Rivers and his band mates are coming too but you don't know about that yet.
