Fics like Only Then Eye Am Human (Only Then I Am Clean)

Two Watchers, once players will do anything to go back to before. They know that it will never happen but they can pretend. They can run away. Two voidwalkers, once brothers miss what they had but they know they can never take back what they did. - grian became a watcher to save his players and his twin sister. pearl became a watcher to find her missing brother. they run away from the watchers when they find each other and eventually get to the safety of hermitcraft. They will shed their godhood, even if it means cutting off their wings and selling them on the black market for blindness potions so they don't have to see the prayers of their followers. Evil X likes to go shopping, when he finds the wings of his patron goddess and the wings of Xisuma's patron god, he buys them and brings them to his brother. Together they try to make a plan on how to A) get their watchers more worship and more power so they can survive whatever is happening to them B) find and save them both pairs have very opposite goals. this is my first fic! hope you like it! tags will be updated as I write!
