Fics like don't let go

He pressed himself further back into the corner, a snarl coming to his lips. The eye creatures never reacted to his shouting, but they did hesitate when he growled. But when the lanky aliens came around the corner, they didn't so much as look at him. Instead, they were focused on what looked like a stretcher, the kind that ambulances used back on Earth. Sitting atop it, perfectly still, was another human. Scar felt his heart stop in his chest. It was impossible. There was no way there was another human on the ship. It had to be a trick of some kind, a robot made to look human, or a statue, or something. This was some sort of experiment, a test to see how he would react to seeing something that looked like his own species. But they looked so lifelike. - or, abducted by a rogue group of alien scientists, Scar is nothing more than a test subject. After a year alone, he finally gets a friend. As the only two humans outside of the solar system, they have only each other to rely on. Alone, it was impossible to escape. But with Grian by his side, maybe, just maybe, they have a chance. or or, grian and scar against the entire galaxy, trying to survive and make their way home.
