Fics like The Third Option

Being a clone grown in a lab means Kon-El is used to floating in limbo—not quite human, not quite Kryptonian, and entirely unsure of his place in the world. But while Superman and Lex Luthor tear up Metropolis arguing over his destiny, Kon finds his own version of stability in the form of a Wayne Enterprises credit card and a sarcastic Gothamite who actually sees him as a person. (Or: Kon causes a parenting crisis mid-battle, and Tim is entirely to blame.)
