Fics like Tim Drake’s Guide to Post-Mortem IVF and the Consequences of Teenage Parenthood

“So, where’s the evidence?” Tim asked. “One moment,” Bruce said, still staring down at Lila like she was God’s greatest gift to earth. And she was the greatest gift to earth. But Tim’s greatest gift—not God’s—because Tim technically was the one who had swirled her up in a test tube. Tim accidentally creates a baby out of his and Kon’s DNA in grief. He keeps this a secret until he can’t, and then pivots onto the story that he’s “babysitting.” With a family full of detectives, it’s a story unlikely to last. (AKA the fic in which a baby prompts Tim to reconcile his relationships with his loved ones)
