When Conner died fighting Superboy Prime, he left more than just a heartbroken Tim behind. Faced with being a single teen parent, Tim has to struggle between the loss of his father, his two closest friends, and the love of his life. Then Bruce is gone, and Robin is taken from him as well. Betrayed by what remains of his family, Tim happily stays away, vowing to his son that he will never have to be exposed to the Bats. After all, they never cared for Tim; why would he think they would care about his child? So far, he's been lucky, not having run into any of the Bats despite still living in Gotham. Sure, his luck was bound to run out eventually, but he hoped his son would at least be old enough to talk when it did. Or; 5 times Tim has no choice but to introduce his son to a member of his family, +3 times he does so gladly.
