Fics like Out of the Basin

Drop into the Mojave desert? Check. Get taken in by a cynical mechanic? Check. Learn how to cook a proper omelet via YouTube? Check. Accidentally get recruited by a secret intelligence agency to join a dysfunctional team of superheroes? Well... nobody's perfect. Leon S. Kennedy just wants to find a way home. But as he's thrown into a world of gods, monsters, and a broken group of defenders, it turns out that simply being himself—stubborn, gentle, and entirely genuine—is exactly the kind of presence the Avengers didn't know they were waiting for.
