Fics like The Watchers

Uatu, The Watcher, swore an oath never to interfere. And yet, he cannot help himself. The world he looks after is not perfect, but it tries, and there is beauty in their courage and in their love. He wants to save them, but he can't. That's not to say he can't give them the tools to save themselves, though. OR: The Avengers and a few others are taken by the Watcher to observe their Anchor Being's life so they can return with knowledge to save their world in preparation for Dr. Doom.
