Fics like demon in headlights

As quickly as he can currently handle, Jinu reassesses his situation with the new information in mind. He discovers three things he didn’t fully realize before. One, something is definitely broken. Probably a rib, or three, or five. His ribcage feels like it’s screaming at him for so much as trying to breathe. Two, that hit might’ve killed him if he weren’t a demon, or at least done a lot more damage. But Jinu is pretty sure he’s not actively dying so, at least he’s got that going for him. And three, his disguise is still up. Jinu is particularly happy about that one. Getting hit by a car isn’t fun regardless but at least he doesn’t have to deal with headlines like, ‘Jinu of the Saja Boys: Hospitalized after taking a bad hit from a speeding car! Saja Boys fans are out for blood!’ (Or Jinu gets hit by a car. He tries to sleep it off. Huntrix keeps making a big deal out of it though.)
