Fics like Not So Best Friends

Mike and Will have been best friends for as long as they can remember. For years, they shared everything: adventures, secrets, dreams, and a future they always assumed would include each other. But growing up has a way of complicating even the strongest friendships. Both boys are carrying feelings they don’t know how to name—feelings that are becoming harder and harder to ignore. While Mike struggles with guilt, expectations, and the fear of losing the person who matters most to him, Will is forced to confront the possibility that some truths are better left unspoken. As the world around them changes and the future pulls them in different directions, they must decide whether protecting their friendship is worth sacrificing their hearts. A coming-of-age story about first love, longing, friendship, and finding the courage to be honest with yourself.
