Fics like Back Bay: Boston

“I’m looking forward to your preliminary report,” Ilya called after Shane’s retreating back. Shane’s shoulders stiffened and he turned back. He looked down at Ilya from his spot on top of the embankment. “Don’t contaminate my crime scene, Rozanov.” By the age of 26, Ilya Rozanov is the youngest detective in the Boston Police Department's Homicide Unit. Late night partying and creative use of police property have given him a bad boy reputation, but his closed cases and meticulous investigation skills have helped him get promoted quickly through the ranks. Shane Hollander is a straight-laced forensic pathologist in the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The two have butted head over previous investigations but when a body washes up in the Charles River, they will have to work together to solve the murder and see how far this twisted trail takes them. Inspired by The Departed, iZombie and the voices in my head.
