Fics like It's the eyes

“It’s the eyes, really.” That’s what Eddie would say when someone asked him how he always managed to know exactly what Buck was feeling. Those big, blue, Buck eyes. Eddie found it strange how he was the only one that was able to read them. They were so expressive. A testament to how Buck wore his heart entirely on his sleeve. Perhaps others just didn’t look into Buck’s eyes as much as he did. When he was at the height of his addiction, however, Eddie learned of a new Buck look that he hadn’t seen before. -- Or: Eddie worries about Buck after he grows distant and spends all his time exercising. He knows something is wrong because he knows Buck's eyes. They tell him everything. One Friday night, he talks to Buck about it.
