Fics like Study Break

With a quiet laugh and a smile playing at his lips, Henry held up the clicker, making his plans obvious. “How would you like to have some puppy time, love?” he asked, taking a step closer. His hand reaching out to card through his boyfriend’s curls, twirling dark strands around one finger affectionately. “Are you in the mood for that?” “Yes,” Alex replied immediately. Suddenly feeling like that was the only thing today had been missing. He felt like that often, that he was waiting for something he couldn’t quite identify. But Henry always seemed to know, even when he didn’t have a clue himself. “I’d love some puppy time,” he confirmed, leaning up and nuzzling his face into the blond’s palm. His eyes fluttering closed as he sighed contently, hands closing the book he’d been studying with all morning. “I’m tired of being a person. Puppies don’t have bar exams to pass.” - Or Alex has Puppy Time :)
