Fics like “Then keep up, Princess.”

A Fic inspired by Sofia the First about Sofia joining the Royal Flying Derby, a flying race mostly done by princes. Many students doubt her because she is a princess and has never flown before. Even Amber worries that Sofia could get hurt, but Sofia still wants to prove that girls can do the sport too. Sofia chooses Minimus, a small purple pegasus who is also underestimated by others. Training is very difficult, and Sofia secretly practices at night because she is embarrassed to fail in front of everyone. One night, Prince Hugo finds her practicing and decides to help train her because he understands how it feels when people do not believe in you. As the race gets closer, Sofia improves little by little. Amber begins supporting her, Hugo defends her from other princes, and Minimus becomes very protective of her. During the race, Sofia and Minimus almost crash after another racer hits them, but they recover and continue flying. In the end, Hugo wins first place and Sofia gets second place, but everyone finally respects her for working hard and proving herself.
