Fics like you seem pretty scared for a boy so brave

Dustin wasn't the only one who lost Eddie. Mike's grieving him too, but he can't complain, hardly anything's happened to him compared to the others after all. And that's just the way of things; he's Mike the Brave. A great paladin and the heart of the party. But things are different this time. Everyone's falling further and further apart. Dustin's not ready to let Eddie go. Max is stuck in her unexplainable coma, with Lucas all but glued to her side. El and him decided they were better off as friends after California, but with her training all the time and having to hide from the government even that friendship is slipping away. And then there's the Will of it all. A great chasm between the two that's existed ever since their fight in the rain and just kept growing each year like a weed until Mike couldn't even begin to guess how to bridge the divide. Now Mike spends most of his time talking to an outsider who listens to his problems, ignoring his rapidly worsening symptoms, and generally trying to tape up the cracks in the party as best he can.
