Fics like The Only One Who Came Close

While hiding in a rundown apartment to recover from his injuries, Alec unexpectedly ends up caring for a wounded stray cat he names 008. The tiny animal becomes the only living creature willing to approach him without fear or judgment. Weeks later, Bond finally tracks Alec down—only to find him thinner, exhausted, and sharing the apartment with a stubborn cat that refuses to leave his side. During a heated argument, 008 curls up on top of both men, silently forcing them into a fragile moment of peace neither of them knows how to handle.
