Fics like love bugs, bat hugs

Penelope Parker didn't fully understand what was happening when a man stole her away from her aunt and uncle. Four years old and kept in a lab full of people with harsh hands and odd tools, she spent months scared and wondering if she was becoming something less than human. When an artifact malfunctions and sends Penelope spinning into another world, she doesn't hesitate to find help. The Bats aren't ready for a toddler with experiment scars and the eyes of their oldest bird. They've never been ones to give up on a challenge, though. They will give this precious little girl with miraculous abilities and a smile like the sun the love she deserves. Even if that means tea parties and spider friends.
