Fics like a call from home on one night

Matt Damon is a famous, well-celebrated actor with a beautiful wife and children. Ben Affleck has struggled with alcohol and depression his whole life, and juggled between different women instead of settling with one. When Matt’s career started to skyrocket, he abandoned his childhood best-friend in hopes of becoming more and more famous and successful. Now he has a mansion, a model-wife, talented kids, and everything he could dream for. In contrast, Ben has been unemployed and in and out of rehab and half-way homes for years, and deliberately neglected his children in the process. Despite the two’s very different lives, they both miss and need each other. The two haven’t spoken in years, but Ben decided to call Matt one night.
