Fics like 'Perche Non Fai La Cosa GIUSTA'??? (*Why Don't You Do RIGHT*???)

1947- the canonical year of Angel Dust | Anthony's death by either accidental or on-purpose overdosing of his eventual (nick)namesake. But *THIS time 'round*, he's still alive and kickin' and HAPPY- he might still not have any actual family around, which *does* get more than a bit lonely, but at least he still has his best friend/roomie/possibly *something MORE* winged Cat bartender Husk; that MORE THAN makes up for anything missing in his not-so-Hellish life, 'mille grazie'...! Yeah- life's pretty good... until Marvin Acme the Gag King turns up *D-E-A-D* one day, his will goes MIA, some not just really weird guy but *fuckin' CREEP* named 'Judge Doom' kinda-sorta usurps the throne (so to speak), and the sweet goofy Toon star *Roger Rabbit* is framed and SENTENCED TO DEATH for the crime along with just-as-'dolce gentile' Pinocchio, that is. Which, *YIPES*...!!! You'd think that neither Husk nor Angel would have *ANYTHING* to do with this- but you'd be *very very WRONG*... See, despite 'Husky's' being a Cat himself and Anthony practically a grown-up Lampwick, 'Nocchi's *their FRIEND*. Whom they kinda-sorta have feelings for and vice-versa-! *OhFUCK*.
