Fics like We Who Were Divine

At Snow and Serah’s wedding, Lightning is conflicted over her growing feelings for Hope, and Hope is still dealing with the aftermath of Bhunivelze’s possession and torture. At least they live in a world where they can dream about a happy future, and neither of them wants to imagine a future without the other person in it. But when humanity starts to regain its memories of the old world, former members of the Order of Salvation give Hope a chilling message: Bhunivelze plans on using his body to return to the land of the living…and to exact revenge on Lightning for defying him. At Lightning’s insistence, she and Hope go into hiding together and race to find a solution as the clock ticks down. As they approach the fateful day, more and more of Hope’s old powers re-awaken. If only hers would, too. Then maybe she could ensure a happy ending for them both.
