In a world where dragons exist in secret, Hiccup is expected to follow in his mother’s footsteps as the city’s Dragon Protector—the guardian of both humans and dragons. There’s just one problem, he has no powers. But when a sudden, painful transformation awakens something inside him, Hiccup finally becomes a dragon… just not the kind anyone was hoping for. He’s a Night Fury, a form so rare and dangerous that if the Dragon Council discovers the truth, they won’t hesitate to strip him of his powers. With the help of Windwalker, a trusted family friend, Hiccup is forced to hide who he really is as he enters dragon training alongside rivals who already doubt him. As pressure builds and suspicion grows, keeping his secret becomes more dangerous than revealing it. Because if the truth comes out, Hiccup will become a target.
